SUMMARY
The fault in our stars features the story of a teenage cancer victim named Hazel Grace Lancaster. Hazel is living with the hardships of lung cancer, and her parents, in a hope to get her to meet some friends, persuade her to join a cancer support group. At the group, Hazel meets our love interest Augustus waters, along with their good friend Issac. From the day these characters meet, they finally start to see the world in all of the hope, love, and life it has to offer instead of asking how much time they have left.
REVIEW
My overall review for this book is five out of five star. to be honest, I don't find myself reading that many romance novels. Mainly because I find most of their plots to be cliche, and the characters to be very similar. But this book was incredible. The plot was incredibly unique, not just because of the involvement of cancer itself, but because of how well it worked into the plot. I also loved Hazel's and Gus's personalities and their connection. The two's relationship is not overdone, but also not underplayed. I loved Gus's quirkiness and Hazel's brain; the two make a perfect match.
CLOSING
In conclusion, I found the Fault in our Stars to be funny, heart-wrenching, and beautiful. Defiantly check this book out if you love quirky characters, a heart-wrenching plot, and a tragic ending.
